We are hiring a hands-on Sales Manager / Sales Team Lead to join a Singapore-based interior design and renovation studio.
This role is ideal for strong B2C sales professionals, including candidates from retail, showroom, or service-based environments, who are comfortable with client consultations, closing deals, and working with commission-based structures.
Prior experience in interior design or renovation is not required and will be considered a plus.
About the Company
We are a boutique interior design and renovation studio delivering end-to-end residential projects. The team works closely across sales, design, and operations to ensure a smooth client journey — from first consultation to project completion.
The Role
You will focus on client-facing sales, managing consultations, converting enquiries into confirmed projects, and maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
Depending on experience, the role may also include mentoring or supporting junior sales team members, while remaining actively involved in hands-on sales.
What You’ll Do
Conduct client consultations to understand needs, budgets, and timelines
Guide customers through the sales process and close residential projects
Prepare and review quotations, ensuring pricing accuracy and margin alignment
Build strong relationships with new and returning clients
Maintain accurate CRM records and manage your sales pipeline
Work closely with designers and operations teams to ensure smooth project handovers
(For Team Lead level) support and coach junior sales team members
What We’re Looking For
3–7 years of B2C sales experience, ideally in retail, showroom, or service-based environments
Proven ability to close deals and work with sales targets or commissions
Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills
Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, and quotations
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously
Experience using CRM systems
Mandarin / Chinese language skills are a strong advantage due to the client base
Nice to Have
Experience in interior design, renovation, property, or home-related industries
Exposure to consultative sales or high-value transactions
Ability to read basic floor plans (trainable)
Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior sales staff

Compensation
