Accounting Manager

Our client is a professional services firm in Cyprus, providing audit, tax, accounting, and business advisory solutions to both local and international clients. Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of accounting services to a portfolio of clients across various sectors and sizes, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Lead the preparation and review of management accounts, financial statement, and reporting packages, providing strategic insights to support client decision-making Monitor and ensure timely processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll across client portfolios.
- Review and approve documentation related to annual audits income tax and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate and communicate directly with clients, auditors, and tax authorities, addressing queries and providing professional advice as required.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Support business development activities by identifying client needs, proposing tailored solutions, and contributing to client onboarding.
- Manage administrative functions related to the department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Communicate the needs of the clients to the staff and train the staff on how to properly account for Accounting and Follow standards.
- Teach staff procedures about Quickbooks and Xero and Excel on how to become more efficient.
- Answer any questions that the accounting team might have.
Requriments
- University Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- ACA / ACCA Qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of Accounting Softwares (Xero, Quickbooks).
- Computer Literacy, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
