Role Overview:
They are looking for an experienced Operations Director to lead and scale operational excellence across the EMEIA & APAC region.
You will oversee multiple Distribution Centers and Integrated Solutions locations, ensuring seamless execution, high performance, and continuous improvement across all operational processes.
This is a high-impact, strategic, and hands-on role where you will shape the operational framework of the region, drive productivity, and build a strong leadership team capable of supporting global growth.
The role requires regular regional travel and occasional international travel.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Operations Leadership
- Manage day-to-day operations across multiple sites (warehousing, inventory, order fulfillment).
- Ensure exceptional service levels and on-time delivery to customers worldwide.
- Implement and standardize operating procedures, processes, and KPIs across the region.
Supply Chain & Procurement Alignment
- Work closely with Demand Planning, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams.
- Optimize inventory levels, supplier reliability, and overall cost efficiency.
- Drive performance improvements across the end-to-end supply chain.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Lead operational excellence initiatives (Kaizen, Lean, workflow optimization, waste reduction).
- Deploy tools and systems to enhance visibility, control, and efficiency.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across all teams.
People Leadership
- Manage, mentor, and develop managers and supervisors across several countries.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, Finance, and executive leaders.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, development, and performance management for the operations organization.
Performance & Compliance
- Monitor key operational metrics (OTD, inventory accuracy, fill rate, cost-to-serve, etc.).
- Manage operational budgets and CAPEX investments.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, export control, and all internal policies.
Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Have Experience
- 10+ years in Operations or Supply Chain within B2B distribution, automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or similar sectors.
- Proven background managing multi-site or international operations.
- Strong track record of driving process transformation and operational excellence.
- Fluent in French and English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the aviation aftermarket or GSE industry.
- Background in complex global supply chains.
- Strong technical knowledge of warehousing systems and operational tools.
