AI Data Analyst – Venture Intelligence
Location: CEE / Southern Europe (remote, full-time)
Contract: B2B
About the Role
We’re seeking a highly motivated AI Data Analyst to join a boutique venture capital firm investing in early-stage AI-driven startups across the US and Europe. This role is an exceptional opportunity to break into two of the most sought-after industries: Venture Capital and Artificial Intelligence.
You will work closely with the Head of AI and General Partners, analyzing structured and unstructured data to detect early signals of high-potential projects, founders, and technologies in AI, robotics, and modern data infrastructure.
This is not a traditional venture analyst position. The focus is on signal detection, research synthesis, and data-driven discovery rather than financial modeling or portfolio monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze diverse digital ecosystems (repositories, publications, research platforms, community channels) to identify promising individuals, research, and projects.
Develop tagging systems, heuristics, and dashboards to filter noise and surface high-signal opportunities.
Track trends, momentum, and emerging toolchains in applied AI, robotics, and data infrastructure.
Collaborate with the internal development team to refine the proprietary data intelligence platform.
Deliver consistent insights and concise research summaries for the investment team.
What We’re Looking For
Must Have:
2–4 years of experience in data analysis, product analytics, or ML research.
Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem (tools, communities, research hubs).
Ability to work with semi-structured and unstructured datasets, detecting patterns and extracting meaning.
Strong analytical thinking and pattern recognition skills.
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
Time zone alignment: availability until 19:00–20:00 CEST to sync with US-based team.
Nice to Have:
Basic Python or SQL for data wrangling.
Exposure to prompt engineering, LLM applications, or AI agent frameworks.
Experience building tools, dashboards, or intelligence workflows.
Soft Skills
High availability & responsiveness during working hours (remote role with real-time interaction).
Coachability – willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
Strong managing up skills – ability to work directly with senior executives and communicate effectively.
Proactive communication and self-organization in a remote, high-performance team.
Benefits & Work Environment
Prestige & Network: Direct collaboration with renowned venture capital leaders (ex-Intel Ventures, ex-CEO of a $6B AI unicorn).
Career Breakthrough: Unique entry point into both Venture Capital and AI – industries with high barriers to entry.
Learning & Mentorship: Close interaction with industry experts and exposure to cutting-edge AI projects.
Flexibility: Fully remote role with a flat organizational structure.
Time-off: Vacation days and leave aligned with the legal standards of the candidate’s country of residence (B2B contract).
