Head of Solution Engineering

Position Overview
We are looking for a Head of Solution Engineering to lead and expand the Solution Engineering team responsible for driving technical sales and ensuring seamless integration of institutional-grade financial solutions. The role requires deep expertise in trading technologies, market infrastructure, and risk management, with a strong understanding of institutional liquidity.
This position bridges the gap between sales, product, and technical integration, ensuring clients receive world-class onboarding, support, and product optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Solution Engineering team.
Provide technical leadership in customer engagements, pre-sales processes, and solution design.
Act as a key technical advisor during the sales cycle, clearly articulating product capabilities and business value to prospective clients.
Oversee client integrations and deployments, ensuring smooth and timely implementation.
Ensure solutions account for liquidity flows, execution models, risk parameters, and infrastructure compatibility.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, and Development teams to define optimal client solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, guidelines, and training materials for clients and internal teams.
Proactively identify client needs and propose product enhancements based on feedback and market trends.
Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure team effectiveness and client satisfaction.
Represent the company in technical discussions with external stakeholders, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and expertise.
Requirements
Must-Have
Extensive technical background in financial technology, trading platforms, risk management systems, and enterprise SaaS solutions.
Proven track record leading a technical team, ideally in solution engineering, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales in the financial industry.
Strong understanding of liquidity aggregation, order routing, execution models, FIX protocol, and API-based trading systems.
Deep expertise in trading technologies and market infrastructure, particularly in FX, CFDs, and digital assets.
Familiarity with institutional platforms such as MetaTrader, cTrader, OneZero, PrimeXM, and proprietary OMS/EMS.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
Proactive, client-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and stakeholder coordination skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI or automation tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Python scripts, GitHub Copilot).
Experience with large-scale multi-project environments.
