Position: Business Development Manager – Africa
Location: Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda
We’re seeking a Business Development Manager with a proven track record in building strong, long-term partnerships with PSPs, banks, and crypto players across Latin America.

Our client is a global leader in payment solutions, catering to rapidly growing digital sectors like iGaming, Forex, Crypto, and e-commerce. With millions of transactions processed each month, the company operates across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. Their advanced payment infrastructure supports over 60 methods, including local options and crypto, all backed by PCI DSS security, encryption, multi-currency processing, and in-house back-office solutions.
Key Features:
AI-based routing for optimal transaction approval rates
Open banking and Pay-by-Bank payment solutions
Scalable infrastructure for high-risk merchants
Local and international payment gateways (cards, digital wallets, and crypto)
Flexible API integration and 24/7 dedicated support teams
What You'll Do:
Sign at least 5 new local partners in 6 months — including mobile money providers, banks, payout processors, and crypto wallets;
Enable local pay-in/pay-out in 4+ countries within 90 days — Nigeria (BT, USSD), Kenya (M-PESA), Ghana (mobile money), Uganda, etc.;
Negotiate and close strategic deals — commissions below 2%, weekly settlement (T+3 max), crypto-compatible terms;
Maintain a qualified pipeline of 10+ opportunities per month — built from your local network, industry events, and cold outreach;
Launch 2–3 stablecoin or crypto payment options per region to support our treasury and product teams;
Ensure SLA monitoring and QBRs for each active partner.
What Makes You Our “A-Player”:
3–5+ years in fintech, mobile money, crypto, or PSPs in Africa;
You’ve personally negotiated deals with local banks, wallets, or payment aggregators;
Strong understanding of infrastructure challenges: KYC, liquidity, FX, regulations, and reliability;
You’re well-connected — and not afraid to knock on new doors;
Excellent communicator in English (C1+), bonus if you speak French or local languages;
You’re persistent, creative, and know how to execute even in chaotic ecosystems.
