About the Position
They’re looking for an experienced Sales Person who can combine both a Sales Development Representative and a Sales Manager role. In this hybrid role, you'll take full ownership of the sales cycle - from prospecting and lead generation to closing high-value sponsorship and partnership deals. This is a high-impact role for someone who can independently identify and secure opportunities while working closely with their team to deliver results.
What You Will Do
- Drive Revenue: Manage the full sales process, from outreach to negotiation and closing.
- Identify Opportunities: Research and target prospective sponsors, exhibitors, and partners that align with ODSC’s mission and events.
- Engage Prospects: Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, and virtual meetings to build meaningful relationships.
- Pitch with Purpose: Present sponsorship packages and partnership solutions tailored to client needs.
- Close Deals: Develop customized proposals, handle negotiations, and finalize contracts.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the marketing, content, and events teams to align sales strategies and deliver value to partners.
- Maintain CRM Hygiene: Keep lead and opportunity data organized and up-to-date in our CRM system (e.g., HubSpot).
- Track Market Trends: Stay informed on AI, data science, and tech industry developments to speak with authority and relevance.
Required Skills
- 3–5+ Years of B2B Sales Experience, ideally in tech, events, or media.
- Proven Closer: Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle and meeting revenue targets.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English proficiency.
- Lead Generation Expertise: Skilled in researching and connecting with qualified prospects.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems, sales tools, and platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify client needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Self-Starter: Independent, motivated, and results-driven.
- Team-Oriented: Comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team.
