Network Team Manager

About the Company:

Our client is a dynamic and expanding IT service company offering fully managed Voice, IT, and Cloud solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. They pride themselves on delivering cutting-edge technology solutions and outstanding customer support. To continue this mission, they are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Team Lead Network & Voice Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 3 engineers, ensuring high-quality support and service delivery.
  • Build, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, access points, and cabling.
  • Support and maintain Natural Networks Cloud Services, Fiber Internet connections, SIP/VoIP systems.
  • Provide both remote and on-site technical support for clients primarily within San Diego County.
  • Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Create, update, and document technical procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to deliver seamless and proactive client support.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, firewalls, and Internet connectivity troubleshooting.
  • At least 4 years of experience configuring and supporting VoIP phone systems.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in the following areas:
  • Switching, routing, and VLAN configuration
  • TCP/IP, subnetting, DHCP, DNS
  • SIP/VoIP systems
  • Firewalls and VPN setup
  • Troubleshooting Internet and network issues
