What is the company expecting
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB;

Education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field;
• 3-5 years of successful previous work experience as a Database Administrator;
• Experience in FinTech industry will be considered as an advantage.

Responsibilities and Duties 
• Install, update, upgrade, configure, monitor database and instances;
• Design and create database;
• Keep databases stable, operational, accessible, and consistent;
• Develop and optimize SQL queries;
• Assist developers on SQL, data structure;
• SQL High Availability, Load Balancing, Replication;
• Perform DBMS-related tasks:
- Configuring authentication and authorization;
- Providing data backups and snapshots;
- Performance tuning;
- Data recovery.
